Susan Tarucan Benedicto was born and raised in a Christian family.  At the tender age of four, her parents separated and her mother relocated to Manila with her eight siblings.  Once there, life became extremely difficult.

At the age of eleven, Susan was baptized but confesses that she did not have the proper knowledge and understanding of GOD’s Word.  It was when she visited her father in the province during her college years that she came to know Jesus Christ as her LORD and Savior and was baptized in His name.

From that time, Susan believed and trusted that GOD was with her, but with no spiritual, physical, and emotional support from her parents, as a young teenager, she began to make many mistakes.

Susan married a cruel unbeliever that resulted in a separation.  For the past 19 years, she has maintained a single mom status all while devoting her time to raising her family.

Desiring not to have her children repeat the many mistakes she made in her past, Susan made certain to provide an atmosphere in her home that would nurture and foster a love for Christ and His Word.  She faithfully and prayerfully taught and reared her children in the wisdom and knowledge of GOD’s Word.

As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD is a promise fulfilled in her life.  Today, Susan is seeing the reward and fruit of her labor as her children are faithfully serving the LORD Jesus Christ today.

Susan is a praying woman.  Her fervent prayers are her weapons for when she has to contend with life’s issues.  Prayer has become a lifestyle as each morning and night is filled with thanks and praise for GOD’s mercy, protection, and love.

Susan is active in her community where she serves in monthly devotions, fellowship, and prayer.   Susan does the work of an evangelist.

Her favorite verse is Romans 8:28, “And we know all things work together for good to those who love God; to those who are the called according to His purpose. This is the promise that God is giving to those who have been called to salvation”.
